Brand Hartford started as an ideal that Mr. Chien-Chih Chen (Mr. Joseph Chen), founder of She Hong Industrial Co., Ltd, during his business visit in the U.S.A. for learning how to perfect machines design as well as production management, aiming at business expansion of parts products. Manufacturer Bridgeport was one of the largest companies for milling machines on that occasion. Bridgeport geographically is situated at Bridgeport city and brand Bridgeport was named accordingly. After Mr. Joseph Chen backed to Taiwan, Mr. Joseph Chen anticipated carrying out much more prosperous achievement than competitors. Brand Hartford, hence, followed suit and made as brandmark logo of She Hong Industries since the capital city “Hartford” was located in the State of Connecticut. Consequently, She Hong Industries far more outperforms Bridgeport in the wake of 50 years and some with great assiduity and commitment. She Hong Industries not only becomes the largest manufacturer of CNC Machining Center but also crowned the top place based on annual exported volume. Hartford, namely, is compared to the leading brand globally.

Mr. Chien-Chih Chen (Mr. Joseph Chen), founder of She Hong Industrial Co., Ltd was awarded Doctor of Philosophy of National Changhua University of Education that is approved by Ministry of Education in Taiwan.
