In response to recent media reports citing the “Ukrainian Economic Security Council (ESCU)” regarding the appearance of the Company’s products at exhibitions in Russia and their alleged connection to SEY Service, the Company hereby issues the following statement to clarify the facts and protect its brand reputation:
No Business Relations or Authorization Involved
- The Company solemnly declares that it has never engaged in any business cooperation, agency authorization, or technical interaction with SEY Service.
- Any use of the Company’s brand name or product display by SEY Service in exhibitions or other occasions has not been authorized by the Company and constitutes its own independent commercial actions.
Full Compliance with Taiwan and International Export Control Regulations
- The Company strictly complies with all export control regulations imposed by the Taiwan government and the international community, including sanctions and restrictions enacted by Europe, the United States, and other jurisdictions.
- The Company has implemented a comprehensive Internal Compliance Program (ICP) to ensure that the end use and final destination of all products fully meet regulatory requirements.
Protection of Brand Reputation and Legal Rights
- Any unauthorized use of the “Hartford” brand for exhibitions, marketing, sales, or trading activities is expressly prohibited.
- The Company has commissioned legal counsel to conduct further investigation and evidence collection, and reserves the right to take legal action against any behavior that infringes upon the Company’s rights or damages its reputation.
